Matt Murphy was born in Thomson, Georgia in early September of 1973. The world has known no peace nor quiet ever since.
Matt moved to Montgomery, Alabama in 1999 for a couple years' tenure at News/Talk 1170 WACV. In summer of 2002, Matt moved to Birmingham, beginning his Magic City career at WYDE 101.1 FM. As of December 2007, Matt has hung his hat (and sweater vest) here at 100 WAPI, bringing you live, loud, and local news/talk coverage you won't find anywhere else.

Marshall is the producer for the Murphy Show. His job is to do whatever Matt tells him to do. Which usually includes booking guests, making phone calls, doing research, and typing notes to Matt during the show.
